How do you run the live CD completely in ram?

Is it possible to run the Suse Live CD in memory, then take the CD out? It’s possible with knoppix by typing “knoppix toram” before it boots, but I don’t know about Suse.

The live-CD does run in memory; it creats a ramdisk of 512MB. But like Knoppix, it locks the optical drive. I have tried to allocate a larger ramdisk but from the boot menu the diff ramdisk size is not accepted. The live-CD is built with openSUSE’s kiwi system. It’s possible to build one’s own live-CD, if one is willing to do the work.
