Hi
Via the menu - system called gnome-terminal or use alt+F2 and enter
gnome-terminal.
You can also right-click on the desktop (or a folder view with nautilus)
and select ‘open in terminal’

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
And with anything X-ish (KDE or Gnome or other) you can Alt+F2 and load
‘xterm’. If nothing else it will get you going, even if it lacks some
of the UI features of gnome-terminal or (my preference) konsole.
Good luck.
