Uninstall discover6-notifier

Or simply adjust the taskbar settings when this symbol shows up and set it to “Always hidden”.

This is the standard setting menu which exists since ages…

@raijar - just to be clear - what you are focusing on is not (technically) Notifications.

There is a dedicated Icon for Notifications:

You’re pointing at the Software Update (yes, it’s a Notification for SW updates).
