How do I transfer M4V videos to an iPod nano?

I have GTKPOD installed, but can’t seem to do it, as I get an error “GTKPOD needs to be compiled with mp4v2 library.” I have mp4v2/libmp4v2 installed.

Help?

With Debian, I needed the package GTKPOD-AAC to do this, and this package does not seem to exist for SUSE, but I’m sure it can be done somehow.
