How do I set $HOSTNAME to dynamically update with the hostname that is specified for the ip in DNS?

Hi
YaST->NetworkDevices->Network Settings on the Hostname/DNS tab, check
the box ‘Change Hostname via DHCP’ anf then OK.

Why is this needed?

Its easier to control hostname through dns then through going on each computer and manually changing the hostname

Is there a command line way of enabling this function?
