Hello. The title is self-explanatory. I wish I could remove or set transparency for that annoying KDE’s “New activity” widget which is located in the top-right edge of the screen. I’m using openSUSE 11.4 (Celadon). I searched for a solution but I couldn’t find an effective one. Thanks for any help provided. Best regards from Brazil.
I do not know the answer, but many people even never noticed that “cashew” being there (and thus must explicitly be told where it is and how to use it). Most of the others know that it exists, but in fact never “see” it, let alone be annoyed by it. Thus I guess that not many people know how to do what you ask because nobody ever felt the need. But let us wait and see …
BTW, Welcome here.
Thanks for the Welcome. I discovered how to bypass this problem: I just needed to drag the “New Activity” item upwards. that way, the item disappeared beneath the system tray I put at the top. Even the cashew button doesn’t appear! only if I enable the widgets. BTW, thanks for the reply ;).
