how do I remove multiple icons from gnome panel

On the gnome panel with a right click you can add icons.
I added the active-applications icon but was looking for a (menulike)list in stead of of separate icons.
Now I have added this icon 5 times but I am unable to remove them.
When I start an application I have 5 icons in the gnome panel, all other icons can be removed with a rightclick but not the icons for the open appl’s.
a new panel is no option for i cannot add or move the standards like the wireles-icon.

(I have a dutch translation, panel could be called statusbar)

Hi
Are you talking about the ‘open windows’ switcher, if so to the left of
the first icon is a small vertical bar. If you right-click on this and
select remove.

If you right-click on the panel and select ‘Add to panel’ these can be
added back. Another option if it’s menu editing is to run alacarte for
menu editing.
