I’m running opensuse 11.1 and firefox 3.5.2 I installed the latest version of flash but i cant get youtube to see it. Youtube says that i either have java disabled or an old version of flash, both of which are wrong. I am a newbie but i think it has to do with the path. Any help?
Adobe - Adobe Flash Player - choose .tar.gz
Extract archive
then as su in terminal: cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/browser-plugins/
This works for 32bit, not for 64bit. Flashplayer is also available through Yast and Online update.
Or if you’re 32-bit, choose the .rpm and let YAST install it for you by choosing Open with Install Software, which should be the default.
Take Care,
Ian
I did that and it said: Reply with quote
What do i do now?
Never use .tar unless its 100% needed
