You are in the wrong forum. Go to the wireless forum, read the stickies, and
post the IDs for your wireless card.
Can you provide the output of an: /sbin/lspci |grep -i net
On my Dell Studio 1737 I have a BCM4322 chipset and just have to install the broadcom-wl package from packman.
Here is the output
linux-bma3:~ # /sbin/lspci |grep -i net
04:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless WiFi Link 5100
08:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM5784M Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 10):sarcastic:
I installed that paackage via yast now where do I go to turn on off my wireless card and configure it?
I have no idea how to configure my network card.
knetwork manager is also trying to start.
