does dydns allow you to run a free mail server on their free hosted
free domain?
i think you need to search for and find the how-to do what you wanna
do at dydns…that is i do not think they are gonna let you install a
linux mail server just for your use on their machinery …

Yes they do well, they redirect(Forgive the lack of correct terminology).
But I bet no one accepts the mail sent from a dynamic ip, they’ll need to look at relaying either via isp or gmail will work.
Though the above is after the simple sending and receiving locally(Not sure how much you need to do from default(Not a lot is my thought)). So alas I’m not up to writing a step by step guide. Not to mention google will enlighten those who seek.

seems to be less and less of those every day…
an endangered species i’m afraid…

Install ‘yast2-mail’. Close Yast if opened, start Yast and you will find mailserver config under Network Services.
the yast mail server asks for an smtp server which is what I want to be running Ibasically want a pop server and an smtp server on my computer so I can use smtp-server.relik.ath.cx and pop-server.relik.ath.cx.
