I want to make a bootable livecd that has custom rpms and software already installed. (if it were installable too, that would be nice.)
Example: Latest GCC + QtCreator with an icon on the desktop, and all that bundled up in my livecd, ready to be used anywhere through USB.
SuseStudio doesn’t even have 12.2, much less a new GCC version. It’s not really customizeable enough either…how would I create files, edit the bashrc, create a desktop item manually? I would need a custom script. But if I want to do that, I can just as well use a second usb stick, put all my software there and the script installs everything.

I do not know which susestudio you use, but the one I use has 12.2 and
you can get if needed new gcc versions from extra repositories (which
you can add with a few mouse clicks during the definition of your studio
build).
