I like the green SUSE lizard, but unfortunately he clashes with my desktop colours.
I’d like the default blue “K” icon to be used, how would I go about it?

Make sure which icon theme are you using now.
Go to /home/yourname/.kde/share/icons/your theme/
Change kmenu.png file for all of sizes
hmm, can’t seem to find an icons folder in either .kde or .kde4. Very odd.
