How do I change the grub menu from 13.2 to Leap after upgrading?

I seem to remember there was an option to label the OS version in the old YAST boot-loader module. Now it is gone or?

During boot in grub menu it shows forever opensuse 13.2.

Edit “/etc/default/grub”.

Look for the line defining “GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR”.

Set that line to read:

GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=""

You are almost done. But you now need to regenerate “grub.cfg” with:

# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

Thanks for the tip. Hope they bring back the option in yast. As a noobie user, I find suse the easiest distro to use just because of yast modules.
