i just want to know how do i change the default
gcc in opensuse 10.3 (from gcc 4.2 to gcc 4.3) ?

Hi,

it is not recommended to update you gcc version!! You can damage the whole system because all software is linked against the libs from gcc 4.2.

The only thing you can do is to install both versions parallel. RPMs can be found here: Index of /repositories/devel:/tools:/gcc/openSUSE_10.3

upgrade to openSUSE 11 instead.
