How Do I adjust desktop size?

I’m using a computer with a Syncmaster 950p monitor and a Radeon 3000 video Card. Here is a link to my Xorg log, i.e. the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log,

I can’t find any way to adjust the display size in 42.2. If I go to Settings- System SettingsDisplays the only option i get is VGA. Nor can I turn off this stupid underline in my post - Sorry.

How can I adjust my display?](http://paste.opensuse.org/88211545)

Hi,

That’s a CRT monitor, right? AFAIK fglrx won’t work for 42.2, apparently due to changes from ATI the driver maintainer could only successfully compile the driver for 42.1. That’s what I’m running in an old netbook with AMD onboard graphics.

About the “stupid underline”, the ending /CODE tag is missing the “/”. And the bracket at the beginning of the URL and the full stop at the end probably shouldn’t be there. Like this:

Thanks for pointing out my error in the code flags. But that still doesn;t tell me how to set screen size. I suppose I could revert to 42.1, but it seems a pity when everything else seems to be working. All that’s left is to find drivers for my epson printer, and getting a decent size of display.

Did you have fglrx driver installed previous?? If so remove it it will no longer work
