How can I reduce the wlan0 power?

Under XP my Thinkpad wifi utilities had an option to set the wifi radio power output.

Is there a way of setting the radio power output under openSUSE?
My wifi card seems to produce a lot more heat under oS than under XP where I have the power output reduced.

The utility is /usr/sbin/iwconfig. The command ‘man iwconfig’ will
show you how to do it. Run iwconfig first to get the current power,
then you know the starting point.

Thanks. That’s exactly what I wanted.
