how can I let my openSUSE support 1280x1024 and 32 bit color??

I installed openSUSE 11.2
and I installed lastest version of the graphic card(nvida gefore 6600 LE), xxx-190.53.run

Please see below 2 images,
Why my resolution is 1280x1024,but monitor is only 1024x768?
and why my colors is only 24 bit?

on the same computer, my windows system can support 1280x1024 and 32 bit color.

how can I let my openSUSE support 1280x1024 and 32 bit color??

Go to Monitor-Vesa and change to LCD–>1280x1024 @60Hz

Why do you need 32bit colour?

That explains why “32bit color depth” is misleading since it in fact does not go beyond 24bit.
