I’ve been fighting with the bottom panel for days and it always gets messed up.
1st problem:
I can’t get the stretched panel from edge to edge of the screen, and it won’t fit all the way to the bottom of the screen.
There is also a problem here that the panel of qemu/kvm installed distros is only Partially visible and almost impossible to use.
2nd problem
After the reboot, most of the widegates have (again) disappeared.

So how do I fix this situation? Probably some update did this…

Ps. I noticed that also on this site that the “submit” button is only half visible.

It sounds like it’s just the floating panel that’s available since Plasma 6.
Right click on the panel → edit mode

There you can uncheck “floating” then it should be sitting at the bottom of you screen. You can also adjust things like width, opacity, etc. in the edit mode.

Thank you. Disabling the floating panel helped, but I’m still having issues with the screen. I will send more information tomorrow. It’s almost night here :slightly_smiling_face:

What is the name of the set of icons you are using in the screenshot?

Set of the icons is Breeze Dark. I’ve edited icons a bit, but it hasn’t caused any problems before.
Should I just use system provided icons (svg)?

I just like your icons

Well, it’s easy to fix the panel stretching problem…

Right click the panel, select Edit Panel and drag the edges to adjust its size. For the widgets disappearing after reboot please clean the plasma configuration cache by deleting the ~/.cache/plasma* files and restarting Plasma.

Hope this help
