How can I change the KDE menu to the mint one?

I installed Mint on a family members pc yesterday and I loved the menu, everything seemed well laid out. Its for gnome and I run KDE so im wondering if its actually possible and if so how do I do it?

You aren’t going to get a Gnome menu in KDE. But you can change from the Opensuse style to the default KDE style.

Start the Personal Settings from the main menu or press Alt+F2 and enter kcontrol.

Select Desktop > Panels.

Select the Menus tab.

There’s a dropdown box next to “Start menu style” that allows one to select “SUSE” or “KDE.” When you select “KDE” more options for how menu items are displayed become available.

See if you like it.
