hopefully not just me

i’m really hoping i’m not the only one thats looked at their boss and seen the pointy haired boss from dilbert. honestly has micromanagment worked on any kind of project since the dawn of time?

The bad news is that the reason Dilbert works is that so many people recognise their boss when they read him.

The good news is that, when you become a boss, you can be different.

the bad new is, most likely you will be the same (because your today
Dilbert-like-boss will have been promoted and picked you to replace
him…and, will, as your boss, DEMAND that his Dilbert policy/ways
continue to flow from you, or else YOU get to leave…so, you become
him to keep your job, and all those below you will think you became
Dilbert, also)…

Thankfully my past 5 bosses have been so far removed from the
micromanagement world, I forget I have a manager sometimes.
