home:/ repos

Is there a way to make the software search page look in the “home:/” repositories?

Manually scanning them all for a piece of software would be extremely tedious and unreasonably time consuming to the point of being completely impractical.

iI you choose an package and goto: show community repos:
f.e.:
https://software.opensuse.org/package/sane-backends

you can also search if you have an obs account and you have set up osc:

osc se sane-backends

I tried to follow this, but needed a few more steps.

On the page you link to (which you probably normaly do not get using the link above, but by filling in sane-backend in Search ), one uses a button: show sane-backands for other distributions. What then is shown has red buttons: show community packages. And there you are.
