As the subject says.
I did a full DVD install of 13.2 on a spare drive ( was 13.1 ) and told the
partitioner to format / but not /home.
When all installed and after a reboot I found that the /home partition had
also been formatted. I am 100% sure I told it not to format it.
No great trouble as there was nothing I cannot retrieve from this working
13.2 install on my main drive I was just wondering if anyone else had seen
the same???

No, I have not seen that. And I have done 4 installs, each time reformatting “/” but retaining “/home”.
(And that’s 4 separate computers, not 4 installs on the same computer).
Did you mount it as \home Otherwise the root partition is used to hold /home and it would be empty

Yeah it was on a separate partition, maybe just me not looking at the screen
good enough
As I said it was no great shakes as always I had backups.
Was just wondering if anyone else had seen it???
It is probably just an age thing, ha ha ha …
I will now go and stand in the corner and eat worms!!
But one thing that is annoying is the keyboard layout, will start a new
thread about that though.
Thanks.
