A few days ago high resolution scrolling for my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse was activated automatically on a Tumbleweed system.
While I think this is a good thing for scrolling through documents and everything else that is continuous (and fast to scroll), it comes with unpleasent side effects for discreet scroll actions like tab switching. Switching tabs (in all applications I tried, e.g. Firefox and KDE stuff) is now so sensitive to tiny movements of the scroll wheel, that it’s practically unusable. The same goes for seeking through a video which is continuous in theory, but not in practice due to delays.
Optimally, the different kinds of action would be treated differently when scrolling. But I’d also be ok with disabling the feature until there is a proper solution. But I didn’t find out how to do that.
Is there anyone else who’s affected? Any ideas?
