Hierarchy in the Edit Applications

Is it possible to sort applications listed in the applications list via Hierarchy?
The function seemed to disappear from the app since I began using OpenSuse in 2009.

Look at the pic.
Clicking the menu should read:
Games → Arcade → test → KMahjongg
and
Games → Card Games → KPatience

Instead the result is
Games → Kmahjongg / Kpatience

Edit -> Sort

There are different options for sorting the menu.

Additionally the menu editor is drag and drop. Also via the arrow buttons, the menu is highly customizable.

Does the following work for you?
Right-click on the KDE menu > Show Alternatives…
For reference I see “Application Dashboard”, “Application Launcher,” and “Application Menu”. The latter should provide similar to what you describe?
