Hide Panel

Hi,

I was trying to customize the taskbar panel in OpenSUSE 11 KDE 4, but I accidentally hit Hide Panel. Now I can’t figure out how to bring the taskbar back. I have looked through Personal Settings and YaST, but had no luck. (via start menu widget) If someone could please tell me how to bring back the taskbar panel, I’d appreciate any assistance.

Thank you.

I can’t even figure out where you hit “hide”. How did you do that?

Uwe

I was arranging desktop icons, then I locked widgets. I had decided to try and remove the Konqueror icon from the taskbar panel since it is there by default, but I use Firefox as my main browser. I right clicked the Konqueror icon (the area where the icon is located) then when a drop down menu loaded I was trying to read the options. However, I accidentally clicked the hide panel option. Instantly the entire taskbar panel went bye bye. Now I can’t figure out how to get it back.

I don’t have that option in the drop-down :frowning:
What if you just add another panel?

Uwe

You have probably solved this by now!
But
If you click on the Widgets item at the top right hand corner that says

Add Widgets
Lock Widgets
Show Dashboard

Yours will probably say Hide Dashboard click that and it should reappear

I think this is backwards to think that one would click Show Dashboard to get it to disappear and Hide Dashboard to get it to reappear
