Everytime i try sudo zypper up i see The following 15 items are locked and will not be changed by any action
and The following 50 package updates will NOT be installed
the first one being there because i taboo’ed those packages and the other one because there better versions (mostly rebuild versions) on a different vendor but it really bothers me to see those packages when i don’t care about it, it distracts me a lot so is there a way to hide those lists when doing a zypper up?
I get used to ignoring such messages.
Only use dup on Tumbleweed never up!
Won’t help lists. But you won’t break things.
The lists show packages that may have a higher version on a different repo that is not the vendor of the current package.
Maybe
zypper -q
?
Check
zypper -h
zypper help dup
