Hibernation option vanished from my OpenSuSE 12.1

After I had performed some online updates, now the hibernation option has disappeared from the menu entry. I use hibernation option a lot. So, I would like to be able to recover this. Anyone?

Hi mazilo!

Have you installed gnome-shell-extension-alt-status-menu?

Do

zypper se -is gnome-shell-extension-alt-status-menu

in a terminal/console to see if it is installed.

You can either disable it in Advanced Settings (do a search in the menu) or remove it.

Sorry, do the opposite of the above post lol!

Go into Advanced Settings > Shell Extensions and enable Alternative Status Menu Extension.

Hi
gnome-shell-extension-alt-status-menu is installed by default on 12.1

Yeah, figured that out after I opened gnome-tweak-tool to have a look. I’m unable to edit my post, so you have the power to remove it.

LOL

Go into Advanced Settings > Shell Extensions and enable Alternative Status Menu Extension.
Got it and now Hibernate option is back. Many thanks.
