That is your problem.

Cheers / Saludos,

(from 12.3 x86_64 “Dartmouth” at Telcontar)

If you take a look at the file named: /etc/default/grub, you will see a line that starts with: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= like the following:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=" resume=/dev/disk/by-id/ata-ST1000DM003-9YN162_S1D0FP65-part1 splash=silent intel_pstate=disable quiet showopts vga=0x34d"

The resume= should point to your SWAP partition. What does you file entry say? You can work with Grub 2 using this bash utility:

GNU Grub2 Command Listing Helper with --help & Input - Blogs - openSUSE Forums

If you make a change, you must run the following command to update the Grub 2 menu:

grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

You can use the YaST / System / Partitioner to see what name your hard drive uses that contains the SWAP partition.

Thank You,

This is my problem ! So, What is your problem ??

Problem Solved! Thank you very much!

Very happy to help. I am not sure how this would not get done for you during the install, but it can be done manually as you have found out.

Thank You,
