Hi to u all

I just want to say hello to new friends, I’ve had problems installing Kubunku Karmic and decided to try a new distro.

Perfectly installed OpenSuse (KDE) and now my desktop is full of green and chameleons

I’m so enthusiastic I want to share with everyone!

:open_mouth: Chameleons? Where did you get the CD?

You are using a pirated version of openSUSE, and Novell will be reading this, and trying to find out your address as we speak.

The proper version has Geckos.

[Welcome!]

In another way I can say …Do we speak out name of president in front of him? No…We say with pride Mr.President…Like wise :stuck_out_tongue:

You may reveal you are from which part of this world. ok I know you are from Milano.
I am from India…Not many SuSe fans from my country. Most of them here are haunted by some r@d hut’s …:stuck_out_tongue:

OMG mahahaha is that a Gecko!? Gosh I’m a newbie of nature, not only in OpenSuse!!

BTW I’ve also installed a green theme and a green theme for FF, I love my new Linux!

…pssst: I won’t say it loud but this chit chat is much nicer than Ubuntu forums…they pretend they’re too serious there, they don’t know Geckos!!

Well, strictly speaking it’s meant to be a gecko - Geeko is his name. But that doesn’t seem to stop them repeatedly using chameleons in their graphics.

Throw in a penguin or two, and it’s a guaranteed head scratcher…

Don’t forget about Yastie, the YaST aardvark mascotte/icon

If you’re bored you can build your own geeko Geeko Builder

I thought I was missing something in 11.2… Now I want the wrench back!! ::\

hey just wondering im new to opensuse 11.1 and need some help on instaling a bin. file i downloaded from the internet i do not know how to initialize a setup

thanks all:P

This is not the place for a question, in the future you may want to place something like that inquiry in Applications,OK?
BTW: in Konsole type cd /to where you have the .bin file/
say it’s in /home/bin you’d type cd bin
then type sh /home/username/your file.bin
then hit Enter.

hi thanks for your help i understand this is not a help forum but i am new to the community could you please explain it more the file im trying to install is called GoogleEarthLinux.bin could you please include that when explaining sorry i am not familiar with the opensuse operating system as of yet but i understand how to get into “Konsole” thanks very much

somebody help me? please?..^^^^^^^:(
