Running KDE 4.1.2 under VMware Workstation.
My ‘e’ key doesn’t work. Obviously works outside
of VMware as I’m typing this post.
I always notice anomalies with keyboards on Linux under
VMware. Once chronic problem I see and it isn’t limited
to SuSE is ultra high speed key repeats. Sometimes nearly
impossible to type any single letter without getting 7
or 8 of them. This is a first though with a missing key.

FWIW, logged out and back in now ‘e’ works.
Trying to replicate it now.

Try disabling power mgmt and see if that helps (a tip from
someone else… not me).
