Only thing more…these code was get it before than i quite de Pulse Audio, and Alsa its now configurated i have a lot of codecs installed but i havent sound yet…

Please, with your PC connected to the internet, open a konsole and type:su -c ‘/usr/sbin/alsa-info.sh’ and enter root password when prompted, and then post here the URL that it provides. Just the URL.

thanks so much for your answer…
now i run the script and here is the link
http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=19f90758403f7f5260e4baaeb22ce224135b4199

According to that, your PC has a STAC9221. I believe that should “just work” with openSUSE-11.1 which has alsa 1.0.18a.

You could also try some edits to your /etc/modprobe.d/sound file. I note this list of model options for the STAC9221 for 1.0.18a of alsa:

	STAC9220/9221
	  ref Reference board
	  3stack	D945 3stack
	  5stack	D945 5stack + SPDIF
	  intel-mac-v1	Intel Mac Type 1
	  intel-mac-v2	Intel Mac Type 2
	  intel-mac-v3	Intel Mac Type 3
	  intel-mac-v4	Intel Mac Type 4
	  intel-mac-v5	Intel Mac Type 5
intel-mac-auto Intel Mac (detect type according to subsystem id)
macmini	Intel Mac Mini (equivalent with type 3)
macbook	Intel Mac Book (eq. type 5)
macbook-pro-v1 Intel Mac Book Pro 1st generation (eq. type 3)
macbook-pro	Intel Mac Book Pro 2nd generation (eq. type 3)
imac-intel	Intel iMac (eq. type 2)
imac-intel-20	Intel iMac (newer version) (eq. type 3)
	  dell-d81	Dell (unknown)
	  dell-d82	Dell (unknown)
	  dell-m81	Dell (unknown)
	  dell-m82	Dell XPS M1210

Lets say you have a Dell and wish to apply the model option “dell-d81”. To do that, add a line to your /etc/modprobe.d/sound file as follows:

options snd slots=snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel model=dell-d81
# dP62.3eubOLksOn3:Radeon X1200 Series Audio Controller
alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel

and then restart your alsa sound driver with: ‘su -c rcalsasound restart’ and restart your mixer and test your sound.

When testing your sound, copy and paste the following line into a konsole:
speaker-test -c2 -l5 -twavand you should (if your sound works) hear a lady’s voice saying ‘LEFT RIGHT’,‘LEFT FRONT’ five times.

If in stead you wished to try “dell-m82”, then just replace “dell-m81” with “dell-m82” and restart your alsa sound driver and mixer.

Try each of the model options, one at a time, in the list I gave you (above) from ALSA-Configuration.txt file. Restart your alsa sound driver and restart your mixer with each attempt.

hi well
there are two problemas but thnaks for response

  1. I cant open de the file etc/modprobe.d/sound when a trying the console says Denegate, and when i open the file with a text editor say me the file cant be save
  2. my PC isnt from a industry as Dell, IBM, or Mac, Vaio, etc, my PC is armed, have some pieces of differents company
    thanks

This is very basic linux. Very basic. You need to use root permissions to do this. Type the following in a kde konsole:kdesu kwrite /etc/modprobe.d/sound
and then edit the /etc/modprobe.d/sound file

That does not matter. Its not uncommon for the settings of a Dell to work on some other manufacturer’s motherboard, or visa versa.

I still recommend you just follow my previous recommendation and try each one as noted.
