Help with Logitech Wireless F710 gamepad

Hey, can somebody, preferably who owns one, help me to configure a gamepad in opensuse 13.1, where are the files for this stuff, is there a tutorial or such as I can’t find anything? It is a Logitech Wireless F710 gamepad and really don’t know how this stuff works in linux, suffice to say the device doesn’t do the job in Team Fortress 2, Star Conflict, and Trine 2… at all - nothing. Is it the games… or WTH? I can see my device and I get movement and buttons pressed in Configure Desktop > Input devs > Josticks. It is recognized as a Generic X-Box pad (/dev/input/js0).

That was happening with XInput (X) setting. If I switch to DirectInput (D) I get some movement in Trine 2 on the directional keys and the left joystick. In Star Conflict all controlls freeze.

Guess what? It works just fine in Steam Big Picture… Tried calibrating the device with the Joystick softw. mentioned = why KDE always has the worst tools for display, sound and controllers? Is someone there thinking “those are not important”???
