Please could somebody help me with setting up and using KGpg.
I have KGpg installed and have created my own key pair. I now want to import keys, verify key signatures and then verify downloaded packages.
I have managed to import keys using terminal and command line. This worked but keys did not as I recall, appear immediately in KGpg key management window. After a reboot (for other reasons,) however, they were there. How did that happen and is it possible to run the whole import process from KGpg gui and how?
In order to verify downloaded software package I know I can do this from terminal by running gpg --verify but how can I download the .asc signature file. Whatever I do it opens in the browser and I want it to download as a file so I can use it as parameter in command.
Finally is it possible to do all this automatically from KGpg?
Advice, help and reading suggestions on using pgp in linux would be much appreciated please.
