Ok, i am at a complete loss here.
Ive installed wine. Ive followed all the applicable steps at the link below. However, when i try to launch the game i just get
Program Error, has encountered a serious problem and needs to close.
This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency n Wine.
I have win 7 ult 64 bit installed on a different hard drive and am trying to run it that way.
Please someone help?
An update to this… After hours upon hours trying everything i can find im able to get the game to launch. However, when i get to the login screen and enter my information it comes back saying “cannot connect to authorization server” and wether i click ok or not it shuts down aion.
anyone who has it working have new or different ips?

My 2 cents: you’re better off in the Wine forums. But, admitted, it’s been ages since I ran a game on wine.
WineHQ - Aion: The Tower of Eternity 1.9.x
that should give you all the answers there are, I know I seen your error somewhere when I was figuring out how to run Aion, but I never ran into it myself.
edit: I remembered again, I used some stuff from the aion section here binary modifications, etc - by Fyyre
