Help! Wifi not working

Hello-
I made this account mostly to get help on my issue. I am running openSuSE 12.2 on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. When this computer ran Vista (>:() the wireless internet worked fine. However, I do know that Linux drivers for hardware are hard to come by, and was not surprised to find that my wireless internet connection no longer worked. I have been working on this for at least a few months to no avail. After countless Google searches, I am not convinced that I will find anything at this point. Please help me!

Thanks, geekgrl5000

Have you read the stickies in the wireless forum? They will tell you how to
report what wireless device you have. Once we know that, we can advise you on
how to make it work.

You should never have to work on a problem for months. In most cases, we are
able to get the device up and running in a few days.

No, I have not read those. Thanks for the suggestion!

This thread is in the “network-internet” forum. The stickies are in the
“wireless” forum.

You might post for us the result of

/sbin/lspci -nnk
