help needed

hello,

I have kernels 2.6.25.11-0.1 pae and 2.6.18.8-0.1.

Could somebody tell me what/where to download wireless driver suitable for DLINK DWL-G122 wireless stick.

Please help.

Looking at the HCL
HCL/Network Adapters (Wireless) - openSUSE

not looking good.

To be honest,

I had downloaded the same driver and it well on SUSE 11 in kernel 2.6.24…
perhaps has any of you tried with these versions?

so were you using ndiswrapper and the XP driver

Madwifi or Ndiswrapper Wireless Network Drivers - Suse/openSUSE 10, 11 - LAN & Internet access

no i dint find anything here for linux so downloaded rt73 from another link which i dnt have with me at the moment.

I dont knw if there was ndwrappers :frowning:
I dnt know what they are for either.

I gave you a link in the previous thread I posted with a howto for ndiswrapper.

Ndiswrapper is Linux software which you can install from the repo’s, that uses XP drivers to run the device in Linux.

That is why I gave you the link to download the XP driver and the howto for ndiswrapper. Read swerdna’s page.
