I have a serious problem with my wifi connection and am unable to diagnose cause. The problem is that almost as soon as the connection has been made it is broken again.
dmesg gives me;-

This repeats as long as wireless is on.
The reason code 2 seems to be that the authentification is not valid. This suggests a problem with the handshake so here is an extract from /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log:-

Once more this keeps on going as long as radio remains on. As far as I am aware the preshared key is correct on both client and AP.
The /var/log/messages file tells a similar story:-

and so on.
This symtom appears to be repeated to a lesser extent on wife’s windoze XP machine so problem may be with AP. What I seek first is to understand what is going on. I suspect interference from another wireless device but is there a guru out there who could help me and suggest solution?
I should add that I already have maximum channel separation and ACL enabled.
