Help needed in updating Totem to play most common Media form

Hi friends,
I need a help from u to update my totem players to acquire necessary Codecs to play most common media formats like .avi,divX,.Vob,Wmv,Mp3 etc…
I would appreciate ur help greatly coz i`m a newbie here…And this is the first time im using a linux computer

Check this carefully…

But I would give Totem a miss. Use VLC or Mplayer.

EDIT:
I just see from another thread you have, you use SLED!
You might as well forget the above.

ok…Then pls suggest any other means to watch movies on my Suse 10.1 enterprise edition…I was told that Vlc Supports only the versions 10.1 and above

Try the suggestion from Malcolm - Add the repo in Sled and update Totem.
