how to tell gmail to send plan messages only
i want to send my friend a pgp-crypted mail - but this fails since the html-based mails allways do some changes to the pgp
my friend receives the mails in a broken style
they are not readable any more
plz advice me - any and all help is much appreciated
by the way i use kgpg and the editor to create the crypted message.
i do not like the enigmail-addon for tbird. +
But if i should try this - : Which credentials are needed to configure the einigmail - the public key that i have generated recently.
love to hear from you
greetings
The safest way to send PGP mail is to use a client such as Thunderbird or Kmail or claws-mail or evolution. I think those all support PGP (actually GPG).
When you use webmail, there is always a risk that the server will mess up the structure of your mail.
And note that Thunderbird (and probably the others) can send html using the proper pgp-mime structure.
does kmail make usage of the pgp-file that i ve created with kpgp?
see https://userbase.kde.org/KMail/de
tbird is to awful to configure
In truth, it is more than 10 years since I last used “kmail”.
However, it is going to use your GPG keyring at “$HOME/.gnupg”. So what you have already setup should work with kmail.
