Hello,
I was trying to test the official software. Until now they have it ready for Ubuntu and Fedora. I tried to use Fedora (rpm).
I found that the Fedora repository address is RPM Αποθετήριο Τεχνικής Στήριξης ΣΕΠΕΗΥ. I tried to add it to the repositories of openSUSE. It asked me something about xml files but I hit OK, next etc. So I saw that there was the repository added. Now I tried to install the software.
The 2 packages are
dimotiko
and
gymnasio
I tried gymnasio. They system returned me that it won’t install some dependencies. I hit ok and the system installed only 3 programs (total are 14 programs).
After they were installed, I tried to find and run them but without luck. I opened again and searched where they are installed. I found out that they were installed somewhere in share…When I found the directory in my system, I found an autorun.exe (OMG) and there was also an HTML file. I run it and I saw the program. When I tried to hit a section, there was a problem something about adobe flash player although that everything is installed.
Most of the programs are in Greek but there are also English, French and German lessons for those of you who want help me.
As far as I know, there must be prism installed first.
Prism can be found here Index of /repo/rpm/p
Seperate rpms for dimotiko can be found here Index of /repo/rpm/d
Seperate rpms for gymnasio can be found here Index of /repo/rpm/g
Can anyone help me? I want to create a dvd with those programs installed to give them to kids.
I visit schools with my LUG quite often and it would be nice if I have a live dvd with them.
Thanks in advance.
PS: I hope I added to the right topic.
