I was involved in testing back when Devin created the first version, but now seems he’s no longer focused on that (and he did all the work for free, by the way). Mailing lists look like a better option, or perhaps trying to check the xc4000 differences between 3.8 and 3.11 The difficult part is that no messages are being generated, apart from the one that says that no channels were found, so I will try to load the module in verbose mode and see if there is any interesting output before contacting anyone else.
