help installing drivers for ati radeon xpress 200 series

I have a computer with an integrated graphics card. It is ati radeon xpress 200 series. It have installed OpenSuse 11.1 on my computer with KDE 4.1.

I have heard that we have to manually install ati and nvidia drivers. Or can the open source drivers run my card. has the drivers for my card already been installed. Or should i install it manually.

I donot have an internet connection on my pc. but i can download the required files from another computer and bring them to my pc. thnx in advance…

You will need to install from the dvd:

the packages listed here:
ATI - openSUSE

drivers from here
Graphics Drivers & Software
can then be installed

I have the same ATI Xpress 200M graphic card but want to install latest drivers. The link you provided its says it supports but how to install the ATI Xpress 200M graphic drivers per say?

The X200 cards are only supported by the open source radeon driver. The proprietary fglrx driver only supports the ATI Radeon HD series chipsets now (ie R600 and above currently).
