Hi Im having problems trying to run a .hep file on Hummingbird.
The first problem Hummingbird is a win application so I run it under wine
The Second problem wine is designed to run .exe files so when i try to run a .hep file it tells me it is a bad .exe.
I also tried to right click on top of the .hep and tell the system to run it with wine. Hummingbird fires up but it freezes.
brassy Hummminbird its a connection software, its like a terminal for mainframes. And I actually found I work around this, instead of running hummingbird in the emulator i found out that linux has a communication program “x3270” and so far its working ok. I mean it connects. thanks for everything…

yep, that was where i was headed next (when i learned what it was) try
to see what Linux has that some Jonhhy-come-lately in the
Windows-world copied (aka: innovatated) and started selling to folks
who don’t know better…its almost like some folks think that MS
invented networking in general and talking to main frames in
particular…and, collaborated with Al Gore to invent the internet!
hmmmmmmmm I ran into another problem. Cant seem to hit the right format to change the font e.g x3270 -efont 12-point
I know it can be change from the GUI but I need to run it from a bash.
