This is sort of a n00bish question even though I’ve been using Linux for a while now. I just have never needed to do this and not sure how. TripleA is an Axis and Allies clone and to host games, I need to open a few ports which I can do but I also need to grant triplea_unix.sh permission to do whatever it wants. I was poking around in the firewall in YaST but couldn’t find anywhere to change permissions for specific apps. Halp please. Thanks.
the Yast graphical manager provides an interface for altering firewalling rules. you just need to know the port(s) TripleA uses, and allow them in your configuration.
