I tried to play .rmvb using Kaffeine but, there was only sound. What should I do? I tried to google this kind of topic but, there was no luck for me.

Trouble is I don’t have a rmvb file to hand to try. Have you tied mplayer?
Yes, I have tried it. But, it is worse than Kaffeine. There was no sound and video (picture). What should I do :’(?
You could install realplayer. I can show you how.
I have installed Real Player. But, there was just only sound. Even it can’t play .avi and .mkv. The only player that can play .avi and .mkv is Kaffeine.
Btw, I know this OOT but I want to ask 1 question. I got external subTitles .srt. I put it in the same folder with my video and with the same name. But, when I tried to play it on Kaffeine, there was no subs. What should I do to make it appeared?
If you have followed the multi-media guide you should also have mplayer, smplayer, VLC all will play .avi .mkv

You may have to go to the settings in the player to configure it
I did follow the guide. If I didn’t follow the guide, I wouldn’t be able to play .avi and .mkv using Kaffeine. The only player that can play .avi and .mkv is Kaffeine.
I tried to install VLC 2 days ago through packman, it required “libggi”. I had tried to search “libggi” in offline repository, packman, and other online repositories, I still couldn’t find it.
Today, when I tried to install VLC again through packman, now it required “libcddb.so2()64bits”. It was the same thing when I tried to install it through VideoLAN. The problem is, until now, I still cannot get “libcddb”.
Please open a terminal and post the result of this

It’s such a mess having duplicates.
Can’t you just remove all those you don’t need. Something like this:

Notice the changes in RED
Caf is right, you have messed up all the repos with each other, i saw two packman repos are enabled. It will give dependency issues and a lot more. Do as Caf mentioned above, and you should be fine.
I have these files, i can play it through VLC and SMPlayer with out any issue.
Repo management is the key to install software in linux.
I don’t know how I got duplicates repo because I’m really new in Linux and openSuse is my first distro.
Ok, now, my GNOME player can play .avi, .mkv and even .rmvb with subs. I don’t know what happen with Real Player. My Real Player cannot play any video, except .rmvb (just sounds only). Xine can play .avi and .mkv with subs but not .rmvb. Kaffeine still stays the same.
I tried to install VLC again and now, it required “libSDL_image-1.2.so.0()(64bit)”.
RealPlayer is not much use.
