Use the forum’s search and search for 14e4:4315, there have been several threads concerning this adapter over the last few weeks.

Hi Mstrtwstr; welcome to the OpenSuse forums; we hope you will enjoy using OpenSuse;

The 4315 device is not supported by the open-source b43 driver. You
need to use ndiswrapper with the Windows driver, or the Broadcom wl
hybrid driver. I think the latter is available through the packman repo.

Larry

and #12 confirmed this:

If the device has the PCI-ID

14e4:4315

you have to use the proprietary drivers from broadcom (available from packman as stated before) or ndiswrapper and windows drivers.

I think this is the link to packman

PackMan :: Package details for broadcom-wl

I hope I have pointed you in the right direction: I am not a wireless expert, but trying to understand some of the issues

You may well need to check out which kernel you are using

Take a look at output of “uname -r” and then choose the correct package to install.

this comes in post #8 from this current thread in the wireless forum

http://forums.opensuse.org/network-internet/wireless/411522-airlink101-awlh6070-rt2860.html

Take a look at output of “uname -r”
means open a terminal and type in

uname -r

that should help you identify the correct package

wireless works!!!

thanks for all the help guys!!!

now if i could just get youtube working lol

well done; enjoy;

post on the Applications forum about YouTube;

are you running 64bit or 32 bit Suse? let folks know when you ask about YouTube; I rather think some flash application may be involved;
