Hi and welcome to the openSUSE forums 
The Arch forum moderators are arrogant jerks.
Currently Leap with KDE “Plasma”. I have used XFCE on other distros but decided to see how I liked the flash of Plasma.
After you have tried it awhile, come back and let us know what you think of it.
Not just the desktop, but openSUSE, itself.

Welcome to openSUSE. I have found my experience here to be tip-top. I switched to openSUSE in 2011 and have been very happy with it.
