hi all from a linux open suse newbie,do you get extra software with the dvd version than you do with the live cd,i am using ubuntu 8.10 at pres made a mistake and it wiped windows off:’( so got rid of vista sooner than i had planned but not to bad i have to say im going to try open suse to compare as it looks very impressive,then may dual boot ubuntu open suse till i make my mind up any way lots of questions will follow im surerotfl!so see you about in forum soon Skiddly

Definitely get more with the dvd. If you have a slow/no internet, the dvd is the best thing to get as it has virtually all the software you need & even if you have a good connection, the dvd is handy “Just in case”
