Hello, everyone!

Hello, everyone! My name is f0rk_b0mb!

I’m a newcomer to OpenSUSE, and I have been loving it so far! I have been running Suse since 12.3 came out, and still going strong. In the past, I have ran primarily Ubuntu (since 2006) and I have been off and on with Arch, Gentoo, Fedora/Red Hat/Cent OS, Debian (testing), and many, many more distros. In my opinion OpenSUSE is by far the fastest, most stable, easy to use distro I have come across. The default KDE theme is absolutely beautiful!

I hope all of you will enjoy my company, as I will enjoy yours. If you have any questions about me, just feel free to ask. lol!

Thank You!

Hey fellow gecko.

GNOME 3.10.1
openSUSE 13.1 (Bottle) (x86_64) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.11.6-4-desktop

Welcome on board

Welcome friend!

Welcome to openSUSE and welcome to our forum.

Please feel free to ask questions as to where to locate aspects specific to openSUSE use. IMHO while SuSE-GmbH Nuremberg have done a superb job in packaging openSUSE, there is vastly more possibilities open due to volunteer community support, than what comes with the basic distribution. Hence if it appears to you that some functionality is there and does not function as expected, or if some function is not there at all, then please ask on our forum.

This is a volunteer forum and I suspect many users may chime in to help, with help numbers dependent on the complexity of the issue.

Hi there! Glad to see more people here
