When i connect HDMI cable and in console as root type
xrandr -q
i have HDMI 1 -Disconnected output system see only inbuilt monitor but not HDMI

You need to tell us a bit more: You use the openSUSE version 11.?, 32 or 64 bit and you use the (Gnome or KDE) version x.x Desktop and finally the type/model of your monitor. Does it work if plugged in on a restart or what happens? I have found that with openSUSE 11.4 64 bit and KDE 4.6 I can do an Crlt-Alt-F1 and then a Ctrl-Alt-F7 and anything that was connected after the reboot is found. In KDE, the monitor is adjusted and selected in the KDE menu / Personnel Settings / Hardware Group / Display and Monitor option.

I use opensuse 11.4 and KDE 32 bit version and in KDE menu / Personnel Settings / Hardware Group / Display and Monitor option HDMI section is disabled( and in xrandr -q output too) even after restart
in windows HDMI works fine. Monitor is DELL st2220l.
